Job Overview
Century Builders is looking to fill an opening for a Journeyman Electrician. Applicants must have a current North Dakota or Minnesota Journeyman license and a valid driver’s license. The expected work week is Monday-Friday, 40+ hours. Hourly compensation is based on experience – starting wage for newly licensed journeymen is $30/hr. Health insurance is offered after 30 days, and dental and vision insurance is offered after 60 days. Additional benefits include Simple IRA matching, paid holidays, life insurance, and an accrual-style PTO. Occasional travel within North Dakota and Minnesota may require overnight stay-outs depending on job distances. Per diem and hotel accommodation provided for any required stay-outs.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician license in North Dakota or Minnesota
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proven experience as an electrician in commercial or industrial settings.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools commonly used in electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks performed
