Reports to: Superintendent
Century Builders is seeking a driven Assistant Superintendent to support field operations for large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects. This role assists the Superintendent with daily site coordination, subcontractor oversight, safety compliance, and documentation on fast-paced, technically complex builds.
Responsibilities
- Support the Superintendent with daily oversight of field crews and subcontractors.
- Assist with weekly work plans, site logistics, manpower tracking, and scheduling needs.
- Maintain daily reports, testing logs, and photo documentation in ProCore.
- Help process RFIs and submittals and communicate field needs to project teams.
- Participate in inspections, quality checks, and coordination for structural and MEP work.
- Assist with resolving onsite issues and communicating updates to trade partners.
- Support material readiness, deliveries, field purchasing, and site inventory.
- Participate in daily huddles, weekly trade coordination meetings, and safety discussions.
- Promote and enforce Century Builders’ safety program and complete required safety documentation.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction.
- Prior field leadership experience (Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Field Coordinator, etc.) preferred.
- Working knowledge of concrete, steel, civil, and MEP trades.
- Preferred proficiency with ProCore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain).
